David Jacquot is a practicing tax
attorney. He is licensed in Idaho,
Washington and California. He is also
admitted to the U.S. Tax Court. He

He spent much of his youth working
on a family farm in Northern Idaho.
During this time he worked with
livestock, haying operations, and
grain production. Currently he
resides on a small ranch in Northern
Idaho, where his wife runs a horse
business.

Mr. Jacquot obtained his law degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law
Center in 1989. He received an advanced law degree in taxation from the University
of Washington School of Law in 1996, graduating at the top of his class.
He has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University
and is a Graduate of the Harvard Business School General Managers Program.
Mr. Jacquot served as a U.S. Army attorney (JAG). He was medically retired due to
injuries he sustained during combat operations in Operation Desert Storm. He received
numerous awards and medals during his nearly 10 years in the Army, including the
Bronze Star Medal for his performance of duty during combat in Iraq.
After his retirement from the military, his practice has focused on small business, tax,
and estate planning. Many of his clients have been owners and operators of various
types of farms and ranches. He also represents individuals and businesses in IRS
audits, appeals, and civil and criminal litigation.
As you can see, he has a unique combination of business, legal and farm training and
